Life Skills: Advanced
Next-level concepts for real life. Advanced LifeSkills is an expansion of Beginner LifeSkills—where we deepen the concepts and raise the criteria in a fair, achievable way.
You’ll learn how to be creative turning skill gaps into training games, choose the right situations for your dog’s current level, and build better choices through thoughtful progression. In this class you’ll work on:
Focus: stronger attention with more challenging distractions
Engagement: staying connected through longer, more complex reps
Duration: steadiness and “hold the skill” in busier environments
Self-control: choosing slower, thoughtful responses when excited
Generalization: transferring skills to new contexts
Handler strategy: building games, adjusting criteria, and picking smart setups
